Course Overview

This short course provides an overview of the paper recycling processes and technologies including various types of paper that can be recovered and the grades of paper that are manufactured from recycled fibers. It offers discussions on the basic fundamentals and specific details of the paper manufacturing process and paper quality improvement. Some discussions about the major challenges facing the paper recycling industry and new and emerging technologies developments are also included.

This course is designed for new engineers and technicians in the pulp and paper and related industries and newcomers to the field of paper recycling.
